Man Accused Of Exposing Himself At Park In Area

A man who allegedly exposed himself repeatedly to park-goers in the area took police on a short foot chase attempting to evade arrest before being taken down.

Members of the Beacon Police Department responded to a specific location in Long Dock Park at approximately 4 p.m. on Friday, July 31, Det. Sgt. Jason Johnson said, where there were reports of a man exposing himself.

Police said that upon arrival, officers were given a description of the suspect, Beacon resident David Zornetsky, who was quickly located. When officers attempted to give him commands, Zornetsky took off on foot and attempted to flee.

Zornetsky, 40, was eventually taken into custody and charged with three counts of public lewdness and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors. Following his arrest, Zornetsky was released and is scheduled to appear in Beacon City Court later this year.
